Meet the new bill, same as the old bill.
H.R. 3962

Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently introduced her latest version of a government takeover of health care. Their latest bill, H.R. 3962, is more than 1990 pages long, and still contains hundreds of billions of dollars in new taxes on families and small businesses, and hundreds of billions in cuts to Medicare, while costing taxpayers nearly a trillion dollars in new government spending. American families deserve better.

I am strongly opposed to a government takeover of our health care system. The 1,990 page Pelosi Health Care Bill has the following costs:

$2.5 Million per Word
$385,504 per Letter
$729 Billion in New Taxes
$500 Billion in Cuts to Medicare

While I strongly oppose their government takeover, I support common-sense health care reforms including HR 3400 that address the problems that exist without destroying the things that make our medical care the best in the world.

The common-sense reforms I support will do the following:

Provide more affordable and accessible health care for you and your family by lowering the cost of health care.
Allow small businesses and organizations to pool together so they can get the same buying power as large companies.
Provide portability so you can take your health care coverage with you if you change jobs.
Remove the barriers for those who have been denied coverage based on pre-existing conditions.
Lower health care costs and end frivolous lawsuits by enacting comprehensive medical liability reform.
